          THIS Thursday, Oct 24 at 7:30 p.m. Wabash Valley College and the Wabash Valley Arts Council proudly present the "Hank and my Honky Tonk Heroes.” This nostalgic look at Hank Williams and his influence on country music is amazing! This show is a must-see for all country music fans.

Nov 4 - Partnership Meeting after 6:30 p.m. Mss at St. Mary

Nov 14 - D of I and K of C Memorial Mass at St. Mary 6 p.m., followed by meal and meeting.

Nov 23 and 24 - Country Store at St. Sebastian

Smorgasbord plans are underway. There will also be the Country Store of new, handmade or homemade items and theme baskets.

Bellmont Christian Church opened the morning service singing,"One Day." For the morning special, Lisa Cochran sang, "What a Day That Will Be". Pastor Daniel Webb brought the message, "Choose Your consequences," with scripture taken from Matthew 7:13-29.

Time to think about Operation Christmas Child boxes.

WBCV - Volunteer day is Oct 23. Friends and Family Dinner is Nov 7 at the First Christian church in Carmi. The Chili Luncheon fundraiser is Nov 9 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Helpers are needed to serve the meal.

The Bellmont United Methodist Church opened the morning service with Call To Worship and singing, "The Old Rugged Cross" for the opening hymn. The congregation sang, "How Great Thou Art," for the morning special. The children's talk was, "The parable of the persistent widow." Pastor Vaughn Courter brought the message, "Be persistent in prayer and justice will be served. Jesus is forever," with scripture taken from Luke 18:1-8

Bible Study each Sunday evening at 6:30 p.m.

The Singspiration this last Sunday evening was great. Many churches brought specials and congregational singing just filled the air with joy and a time of giving praise to our Lord through song! Fellowship (finger foods) followed afterwards.
