Alyssa Chiarello accepted for Georgetown University Summer Forensic Science Course

Alyssa Chiarello, a freshman at Grayville High School, will study Forensic Science this summer at Georgetown University in Washington D.C.  

Alyssa Chiarello of Grayville has been accepted into the Georgetown University Summer Course in Washington D.C. This summer she will taking a course in Forensic Science which focuses the application of Science and Medicine in law enforcement. In addition to her course work, she will work with professionals in investigations, crime scene analysis and pathology. Among the subjects are computer forensics, medical examinations, blood splatter analysis, and terrorism investigation. She will also be working with the Washington D.C. Homicide and cold case unit.

Alyssa is a freshman at Grayville High School where she is a member of the Volleyball Team as well as active in Band and Choir, FFA and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. In 2018, she attended the Science and Engineering (STEM) course at the University of Evansville and during summer 2019, she attended the summer leadership course at Harvard University in Boston.

Alyssa is the daughter of Matt Chiarello of Grayville and Kim Sutton of Henderson, Ky. She wants to express her appreciation for all the support she has received from her family, Ms. Emery and Grayville School, and the Grayville Community.
