This week Pastor Clayton sermon was on Jesus and Politics.

- Politics is not the answer or savior.

- Jesus is the answer.

- Politics is not our first allegiance.

- Seek first the Kingdom of God.

- Politics is not worth dividing the Church.

- United under Jesus.

- Politics is not a test of orthodoxy or faith

- Let us stop passing judgment on one another.

- Pray for unity.

You can hear this sermon or one of Pastor Clayton’s past sermons on our Facebook page facebook.com/fccalbion.

There were a couple of joys in church this morning as Pastor Clayton and Jayla had Miss Ameila with them. And Quinten and Kate had Miss Maggie with them. What a blessing new life is!

We had a couple unspoken prayers this morning. Also prayers go to Cameron Shilling; Rick York; Leroy Speir; Nile and Karen Gay; Ed Wampler; Ed Thompson; Brett Shaw and Gina Simms.

On Oct. 24, there will be a cookout at the Bunting Pond at 4 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs and fishing poles. Plans are also being made to participate in the Albion Trunk or Treat and a pumpkin decorating contest Oct. 31. We are collecting candy for this until Oct. 25. There will be a sign up sheet for groceries for the Thanksgiving meal boxes. We will be collecting for Reconciliation next Sunday.

We have a Men and Women’s bible study every Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m. There is babysitting available. Women of Faith meet every other Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend any of these studies. Stay healthy, stay safe.
