No new laboratory confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in White, Edwards or Wabash Counties. The latest statistics show zero cases in Edwards County with 69 residents tested and three tests pending.  In White County, 165 individuals have been tested with two positive cases.  Health Department officials report one of those two individuals in White County has recovered from the virus. In Wabash County, 202 individuals have been tested with 8 test results pending. There is still just one positive case reported in Wabash County.

Jefferson County remains a hot spot in Southern Illinois with 90 confirmed cases and 14 deaths.  In neighboring Saline County, 224 people have been tested with three positive cases. In Gallatin County, 40 tests have been administered with two positive cases.

Across the Wabash River in Indiana, Warrick County remains the hot spot for Southwestern Indiana with 106 confirmed cases and 18 deaths from COVID-19. Health officials said most of the fatalities were residents of long term care facilities. In Posey County, 14 cases have been reported with zero fatalities. Vanderburgh County reports 153 cases with two deaths with Gibson County has recording just seven cases and no fatalities.
