Projections for the new fiscal year look good for Grayville Community Unit School District #1.
The Grayville Board of Education approved a budget for Fiscal Year 2019 that will see the district come out ahead by roughly $67,000 Wednesday night during their June regular meeting. The board passed the budget unanimously by a 4–0 margin.
According to the budget approved by the board, the district projects to be $67,300 in the black by the conclusion of FY19. The district will see $3,517,387 in revenue and $3,452,087 in expenses over the course of the fiscal year, should the budget projections prove accurate.
Should the budget hold through the fiscal year, the district will have a total of $1,502,286 in its reserve.
