After spending 45 minutes in executive session discussing a complaint lodged by a county resident who blames the service for the death of her husband, the Edwards County Emergency Medical Service Board of Directors took no action during a special meeting Friday evening.
“We discussed our timeline and our issues,” said Seth Fearn, Chairman of the Board, following the closed session. “No action taken.”
The matter is not yet closed, as the board still intends to speak with complainant Mary Sitowell at their October regular meeting.
“I don’t know if we can say that,” said Levi McDaniel, board member, about the prospect of ending the matter. “Because there’s an expectation that we will be discussing this with (Sitowell).
“I think she is coming to the next meeting.”
