White County Housing Authority members report concerns on Executive Director

The White County Board was on the receiving end of a number of complaints about the White County Housing Authority during their monthly meeting. Housing Authority Board member Skip Land and Terry Daubs addressed the board, leveling complaints about Executive Director Leigh Short. 

First, Land told the County Board that Housing Authority board meetings are not recorded. “We were told the reason they are not recorded is because something might come back to haunt us,” Land said.

Land added that Housing Authority Board Members have been told not to speak to any tenants or employees.
