At this week’s Grayville City Council meeting, several ordinance amendments and updates were discussed to include the Animal Control Ordinance, the Liquor Control Ordinance and Golf Cart Ordinance.

The Traffic Code Ordinance was tabled for the fourth time since it was first introduced as “new business” at the May 26 Council meeting, due to the fact that Street Commissioner Chris James is still trying to gather more information. The Council unanimously approved to put into effect the the newly updated Animal Control Ordinance, which runs 15 pages long.

Of note, a limitation on the number and type of pets and livestock have been introduced.
