A trip to Road Ranger in Grayville led to the arrest of a Carmi woman on residential burglary and drug charges.
Kelsie M. Collard, 27, was taken into custody by a GPD officer at the Grayville gas station at approximately 10 p.m. on Sept. 26.. The officer, aware of an White County warrant for burglary out on Collard, arrested her and transported her to the White County Jail.
While in the jail, officers located a syringe on Collard’s person, as well as a smoking pipe, which tested positive for methamphetamine.
Collard was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia, in addition to the burglary charge from the initial warrant.
