Ward brothers take Honor Flight

The Ward brothers, Byrom and Bob, traveled to Washington, DC on Saturday, Oct. 5, with a group of veterans on the Honor Flight of Southern Indiana.  They visited the various war memorials and then Arlington Cemetery for a changing of the guard ceremony. Upon their return to Evansville Regional Airport, they were welcomed with a homecoming parade.  A total of 85 Veterans, along with their guardians, made the trip to DC.  Byrom was accompanied by John Gray; Bob’s guardian was his son-in-law, Dan Dick. A full story on the brothers’ Honor Flight will be in next week’s Navigator.
