Edwards County CUSD #1 2020-2021 registration information

The UPDATED schedule for registration for Albion Grade School, West Salem Grade School and Edwards County High School for each school is as follows:

Tuesday, Aug. 4: 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. until 6 p.m.

Wednesday, Aug. 5: 8 a.m. until 1p.m. and 2 p.m. until 3 p.m.

Fees for the 2019-2020 school year are as follows:

Book Rentals:

Early Childhood, $55                                                                    

Grades K-8, $65                                       

Grades 9-12, $70  

Other Fees:                   

Drivers Education, $100                            

Industrial Arts, $20                                            

Technology Fee, $20 (6-8) and $40 (9-12)   

Athletic Participation, $100 (family maximum: $300)

Senior Citizens (age 60+), $3

Milk: $.35

Breakfast: Grades K-12, $1.20 | Reduced student, $0.30

Lunch: Grades K-5, $2.65 | Grades 6-12, $2.90 | Reduced student, $.40 | Adult, $3.40

Other information needed for registration:

1. Insurance is required to participate in any school-sanctioned sports, IHSA activities, Auto, Industrial Arts and Ag classes. Insurance should be obtained through your local agent as the School District does not provide. The following insurance information is needed at the time of registration (Company Name, Policy # or IPA #).

2. Names and telephone number of contact people if parents cannot be reached in an emergency. Please make sure all information is and kept up to date and current.

3. Kindergarten students or new students to the district need to provide a copy of their OFFICIAL Birth Certificate (not the hospital copy) if the school already does not have a copy. If unable to provide an official birth certificate or other reliable proof (passport, visa or other governmental documentation of child’s identify) as determined by the State Police. In cases where a birth certificate cannot be provided, an affidavit explaining the inability to do so is required.

4. Proof of residency is required, if residency is unknown, a current tax bill along with a utility bill will be required for verification purposes. Registration cannot be completed until residency in the Edwards County School District has been determined and meets Illinois School Code requirements.
