The Bison Boys of Grayville Basketball started the delayed 2021 season with a tough draw, traveling to Midland Trail Conference powerhouse Woodlawn to begin their latest campaign.

While the improved Grayville squad was able to generate offense, they were unable to slow down the Cardinal offense on their way to a 26-point defeat. The Bison endured the road loss by a 67–41 margin.

Brayden Hatcher paced the Grayville offense with 15 points, including four three-point field goals on the night. Lance Collins added eight points in the loss, while Tyzae Rowland netted seven. Kamron Worley knocked down a triple on his way to five points for the Bison as well.
