After a close-knit opening stanza, the Grayville Junior High Basketball squad had little trouble dispatching St. Joe’s last week.

Leading by just a single point after the first eight minutes of play, the Junior Bison went on to win the contest by 28. Grayville defeated St. Joe’s, 50–22.

A tight first quarter saw Grayville ahead by a mere 8–7 margin, though the Bison would expand that advantage to nine by the half, leading 20–11.

By the third period’s conclusion, Grayville enjoyed a 35–16 lead.

Canyon Neeley led the Bison with 16 points in the victory, with Zach Leavens adding 10 more to the Grayville effort. Jake Hosman and Aidon Phillips each produced eight points on the evening, while Aden Lynn had six to his name.

Tripp Morris managed two points in the win.
