Frontier Community College (FCC) is offering a two-day preparation class for the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS), and registration is currently open.  The class will be beneficial to anyone who plans to enroll in the Nursing Program for the Fall 2020 semester, as the TEAS exam is one of the application requirements.

TEAS Preparation will be held on Friday, Jan. 17, and Friday, Jan. 31.  The class will meet from 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. in room 105 of the Learning Resource Center on FCC’s campus.  Juliana Fleming, an instructor for the Nursing Program, will review the subjects of the TEAS exam, which include reading, writing, math, and science.

After completing the class, applicants may choose from two remaining testing dates for the TEAS exam: Thursday, Feb. 6, and Thursday, Feb. 13. The exam may be taken up to two times, and students must score at the proficient level or higher before the application deadline of Feb. 18.  To register for the TEAS exam, please visit
