Norma M. Armstrong, 86, of Grayville

Norma Marie Armstrong, 86, of Evansville, passed away Friday, March 20 at Linda White Hospice House. She was born on Oct. 26, 1933, to the late Henry C. and Elizabeth L. (Kuehn) Reimann.

Norma was a shoe salesman for many years at various stores before retiring. She originally lived in Evansville, Ind., but spent the last 20 years living in Grayville, Ill. Prior to entering Meadowood Nursing Home, she enjoyed riding her golf cart around the farm, visiting her friends at the Grayville Senior Center, and attending activities in the local community. While at Meadowood, her favorite activities were watching her bird feeders, playing bingo, and attending church services. She will be deeply missed by family, friends, and the Meadowood staff.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Eugene Armstrong; brother, James A. Reimann; and sister, Irene M. Powell.

Norma is survived by her daughter, Jean M. Peay; son, Robert J. Armstrong (Brooke); brother, Harold Joseph Reimann (Norma Jean); grandchildren, Shannon Dahmer, Sandy Hedderich, Steve Hedderich, Ailie Armstrong and Lincoln Armstrong; four great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2020, at Alexander Memorial Park, Heritage Chapel followed by a Private Ceremony.
