The Lady Lions cruised through the first round of postseason play Monday night.

Edwards County faced off against Red Hill, crushing the Salukis in just two games; 25–11, 25–3.

The Lions were precise when serving the ball, tallying 19 aces in the win, including 16 from the senior duo of Caelyn Nelson and Darcy Clodfelter. Nelson finished the match with an additional 12 digs, while Clodfelter netted 14 assists and a dig as well.

Meredith Gillard had five kills, a dig and an ace for the Lions, while Hannah Taylor put up five kills, two digs, an assist and a block. Audrey Rotramel recorded five kills on the night as well.

Amaya Lashbrook managed four assists and two aces, with Alli Goering contributing two kills. Ava Greathouse had three digs.

Rachel Perkins and Ellie Marks each registered a kill in the victory as well.
