Jeffery Calvin “J.C.” Osborne, 29, of LaGrange, Ky., formerly of Grayville, died Friday, February 21 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born Aug. 2, 1990 in Fairfield, Illinois, the son of Jeffery E. and Shellie L. (Monroe) Patterson.

J.C. worked in the manufacturing of drywall. He was a United States Army National Guard veteran. He enjoyed working on his 4-wheel drive truck and riding motorcycles and 4-wheelers.  He loved his two pit bull dogs, Drama and Taz.

Survivors include his father and step-mother, Jeffery (Shelly) Osborne of Grayville; mother and step-father, Shellie (Lee) Patterson of LaGrange, Ky.; brother Cameron Osborne of Grayville; step-brother Jamie Caudill; sisters Alisha Osborne of LaGrange, and Sidney (Nathan) Duncan of Grayville; grandparents Ann Osborne of Grayville, Jim (Joyce) Monroe of Florida; step-grandparents Pamela and Ronnie Sanders, and George and G.G. Houck; aunts and uncles David and Brenda Monroe, Rhonda and Todd Osborne, Jammie Osborne, Darrin Houck and Darrik Houck and his dogs, Drama and Taz.

He is preceded in death by infant brother Landon Jeffery Osborne; grandfather James E. Osborne; grandmother Alice Estes; great grandmother Marjorie Butler.

Visitation and funeral are Thursday, February 27 at Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville.  Visitation is 10 a.m. to noon, with funeral at noon. Burial with military rites will be in Antioch Cemetery near Cowling, Ill.
