What started out looking like a lopsided victory for the girls of Grayville High School ended up being a competitive bout Wednesday night.

While it only took two games for the Lady Bison to defeat Gallatin County, the Lady Hawks nearly forced a third set before Grayville put them away. The GHS girls took the match, 25–9, 26–24.

Kylee Hosman dominated at the net, racking up nine kills in the Bison win. Moe Agata put her teammates in a position to attack throughout the evening, managing 23 assists to compliment her one ace. Macy Knight netted seven kills, one assist and one block, while Kami Johnson put up five kills on the night.

Alyvia Rahmoeller had a strong defensive performance above the net, making four blocks and two kills against the Lady Hawks. Gaye Karatepc contributed two kills, one ace and one block, while Kiki Robinson had one assist in the victory.
