Larry Ray Schoenheit, 72, of Grayville

Larry Ray Schoenheit, 72, of Grayville, died Friday, Aug. 14 at his home. He was born Oct. 7, 1947, in Princeton, Ind., the son of Lloyd and Geneva Lorene (Nolen) Schoenheit. He was married to Wilma Jean (Hanna) Schoenheit, and she survives.

 Larry was part of the Schoenheit Trucking Company in Grayville. He enjoyed playing golf (effectively using his trusty one iron), deep sea fishing, traveling, trips to Las Vegas, Nev., and relaxing with a good quality cigar.

Survivors include his wife, Wilma Schoenheit of Grayville; stepson David (Coleen) Kleinschmidt of Grayville; daughters Angela (Bryan) Reed of Princeton, Ky. and Kelly Schoenheit (Eugene Lindsey) of Coral Springs, Fla.; brother Mark (Julie) Schoenheit of Grayville; grandchildren, Nicole Reed and Landon (Alicen) Reed; step-grandchildren, Kaili Kleinschmidt, Madison Couch and Tristen Kleinschmidt and great-grandchildren, Rhett, Rylan and Brayson Reed.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral was Sunday, Aug. 16, at Cook Funeral Chapel with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery in Grayville.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society and will be accepted at Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville.
